I've been intrigued with the SCP1000

And am thinking of interfacing it to a Coridium ARMmite 

http://www.coridiumcorp.com/ARMmite.phtml

 

mainly because of its built-in compiler / USB interface - yes it's BASIC but
has routines for 1-wire and SPI along with its low power and low cost.

 

And eventually add a serial LCD display or HTML capability with the $30
SimpleLan from https://www.avcomtec.com <https://www.avcomtec.com/> 

 

Anyone's comments, gotchas, or ideas?
