...which would be +5V. Although I haven't converted my station yet, I'm
going to feed +12 from a trickle-charged gel cell (we have unreliable
power) to the station and rain gauge. Don't believe in putting to much
demand on the parasite power and am not happy with feeding a +5V supply
down the line as it sure won't be +5V by the time it gets to the other
end...
Thanks for throwing that one in, BD, because I really wouldn't want to
put any more burden on a parasite-powered installation. I've always
thought it a wonder that mine works as well as it does. (Big star
network, run to weather station about 25m.)
