[Weather] Version of TWS for original weather station

I recently saw the discussion about TINI Weather Server which gets mentioned in Tim Bitson's book.    
  That prompted me to download it and do a little playing around with some old hardware that was gathering dust. 
   
  Unfortunately (or fortunately :-), Tim's version of TWS doesn't support the original weather station that uses 8 separate ID chips for the wind direction instrument. 
   
  Is there a version of TWS that supports the original weather station? 
   
  Since that is what I have on hand, I'd sure like to get it going.
