Hi,
I'm already running an off-the-shelf weatherstation and want to add more
sensors to my setup.
I do hope I can get some kickstart help from this group. If my post is
totally misplaced, just let me know and I'll seek advice elsewhere.
I've got the following on order from hobby boards:
* DS9490R-A USB adaptor
* LD3.6-R1-A Lightning detector
* S3-R1-A Solar
* I'll be running off a Win2003 Server
w/apache,perl,php,java,MySql
PRIMARY TOPIC:
I do need some help on where to start looking for an application to read
my sensors. Can the group advice me on this topic?
I'd be quite happy to just get the readings from the sensors. The post
processing I can handle myself. (data storage and displaying)
Any suggestions to put me into the right direction would be greatly
appreciated. I've already looked at ONESIX DDE server, which
unfortunately is incompatible with my USB Adaptor (according to a thread
elsewhere). Otherwise I believe this would have been a perfect
application for my purposes.
SECONDARY TOPIC:
The solar sensor is measuring IR and visible light with a peak at 860nm.
Is there a pseudo conversion that would work to give a reasonable UV
index comparison?
Regards
